CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning Location: Mississauga, ON Salary: CAD $85,000 – $110,000 + Benefits Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO Job Type: Full-Time; On-site; Overtime paid after 44 hours Typical Hours: Monday–Friday; 40–44 hours weekly Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available; legal authorization to work in Canada is required CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning Description Our client in precision manufacturing is looking for a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Mississauga, ON. You will turn complex customer drawings into practical manufacturing processes for components used in highly regulated applications. In this role, you will support projects from initial technical review through production release. Your work will include process planning, ERP documentation, tooling and work-holding development, production troubleshooting, and manufacturing improvements. You will receive structured knowledge transfer from experienced engineering leadership while providing technical guidance to junior engineers. To be considered, you must have an engineering degree, 3+ years of experience creating CNC manufacturing process plans for aerospace components, including defining the sequence of operations, machine setups, tooling, fixtures, inspection points, and production instructions. CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning Responsibilities • Translate aerospace drawings and specifications into production-ready process plans • Define manufacturing sequences, setups, tooling, fixtures, inspection points and outside processes • Create ERP routings, work orders, instructions, operation sheets, and production-release records • Develop fixture and work-holding concepts using SolidWorks • Develop multi-step CNC machining plans for complex aerospace components • Troubleshoot production issues and support corrective action investigations • Improve setup, cycle time, workflow, and process consistency • Support FAI documentation, cost estimates, manufacturability and compliance reviews • Maintain engineering drawings, models, revisions, and records • Coach junior engineers on process planning and production problem-solving CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Process Planning Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required • 3+ years of CNC manufacturing process-planning experience required • Experience defining machining sequences, setups, tooling, fixtures, and inspection points required • Experience working within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environment required • GD&T and complex aerospace engineering drawing interpretation required • ERP/MRP routing and work-instruction experience required • Exposure to fixture or work-holding concept-design required • SolidWorks proficiency required
