Comprehensive benefit plan. What you will do As a Forest Technician you will be involved in a variety of projects throughout the region. On any given day you could be involved in: Forest management Timber reconnaissance Cutblock engineering Silviculture surveys Riparian classification and management Timber cruising Cultural heritage feature identification Ecological assessments Forest road engineering Waste and residue Qualifications Minimum 1 year of previous forestry experience. The Forest Technician will execute a variety of field projects including timber cruising, silviculture surveys, and ecological assessments. Responsibilities also include forest road engineering and riparian management throughout the region.

Candidates must have at least one year of previous forestry experience and a valid Class 5 driver's license. Applicants must be physically fit and passionate about working outdoors.
