We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for talented people to join us! We are looking for Install Technicians to join our expanding Installer team. The Install Technician is responsible for installing internet, TV, and phone services into residential and commercial properties. What We Offer : * Comprehensive benefits package * Staff discounts on internet service and at select local businesses * Opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility, and advancement * Opportunities to work on big projects that have a lasting impact on the daily life of Manitobans What You'll Do: * Processing equipment from customer disconnects and returns. * Supporting I&R Techs with technical questions. * Provisioning equipment. * Collaborating with the I&R Field Supervisor and Coordinator to ensure equipment is provisioned in time and in sufficient quantities. * Other duties as assigned. What You Bring: * Working knowledge of home routes and fiber installation an asset * Ability to learn new programs * Strong time management skills and highly punctual * Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent time management and punctuality * Strong decision-making skills with the ability to find viable solutions to problems as they arise * Ability to work well with minimal supervision * High level of professionalism * Meticulous attention to detail * Ability to adapt to changing priorities * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * High level of organization * Ability to collaborate with multiple departments as needed * Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License required Working Conditions: * Ability to work and drive-in all-weather conditions * Ability to work away from home (travel is required) * Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs as required * Ability to work overtime as workload requires and be on call Valley Fiber does not discriminate against individuals who have a disability or based on their culture, nationality, ethnicity, gender, or religion.
