Repair services are centered around two floating drydocks and a Syncrolift marine elevator with 1,200 tonne lift capactiy and cranage to 100 tonnes. New construction facilities include a major steel forming shop, a fully enclosed paint facility, and a large, environmentally controlled fabrication and assembly hall,allowing major fabrication of steel or aluminum regardless of weather conditions. Along with a full complement of experienced tradespeople, Vancouver Shipyards maintain a technical office staffed by highly skilled naval architects, draftsmen and marine engineers. Vancouver Shipyards are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified.
