Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian. Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program. Our ideal RVT candidate will also have a background in leadership and management. You'll also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice so having experience in management is an asset. Why Join The North Vancouver Team? Exigences
Candidates must have completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program and be VTNE certified or eligible. Previous experience in leadership and management is required to effectively oversee team operations and financial aspects of the practice.
