Exploration Geologist Positions: Role Overview The Exploration Geologist is a full-time, hybrid role supporting remote field execution and geological evaluations across Canada. Operating in dynamic field environments, this position is responsible for driving projects from target generation through program completion. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Operations: Perform desktop reviews, target generation, program planning, permitting, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance. Field Execution: Conduct geological mapping, geological interpretation, field prospecting, and geochemical sampling programs. Contractor & Program Management: Manage diamond drilling and geophysical contractors, including drill site management and survey logistics. Core Handling & Data Capture: Perform detailed core logging to document lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization; oversee QA/QC and sampling protocols. Technical Integration: Collaborate with senior staff to refine deposit models, build GIS/3D datasets, prepare technical reports, and maintain organized field reporting records. Qualifications Education & Credentials: B.Sc. or higher in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline. Valid driver’s license and clean criminal background check required. Technical Expertise: Background and knowledge in geological mapping, core logging, drill management, geological interpretations, and/or applied geochemistry. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with GIS platforms, 3D geological modeling tools, and standard office software. Field Operations: Proven ability to work safely and independently in remote environments, rugged terrain, and adverse weather conditions. Assets: Previous industry experience; valid certifications in Advanced First Aid, Chainsaw, Helicopter Safety, or light vehicle operation (ATV, Snowmobile, Small Boat). Exploration Technician Positions: Role Overview The Exploration Technician is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for supporting field operations, sampling programs, core processing, and logistics for exploration programs across Canada. Working directly alongside exploration geologists, this role ensures field campaigns run safely, efficiently, and with high data quality. Key Responsibilities Core Handling & Processing: Assist in core shack setup, core mark-up, rock saw cutting, sample bagging, and lab delivery coordination. Field Sampling & Prospecting: Execute geochemical sampling (soil, till, stream sediment) and assist with prospecting surveys using field data collection tools. Logistics & Drill Support: Clear drill access paths, support trench excavation and cleaning, and assist with geophysical setup, teardown, and field logistics. Site Support: Perform general maintenance, construction, site remediation, and equipment support as required. Qualifications Experience: Field experience in mineral exploration, core processing, or geochemical sampling in a camp setting is strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Familiarity with sampling methodology, core saw operation, field tools, and accurate data recording. Operational Readiness: Ability to perform demanding manual labor safely in remote, rugged, and variable weather conditions over long hours. Credentials: Valid driver’s license and clean criminal background check required. Assets: Practical carpentry/chainsaw skills; certifications or experience in Advanced First Aid, Helicopter Safety, or light vehicle operation (ATV, Snowmobile, Small Boat).
