Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is currently looking for a Red Seal Bodyshop Technician for its Calgary Branch. What awaits you: Our Red Seal Bodyshop Technician ensures repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Your responsibilities: Excellent door alignment and body panel alignment. Must have good fiberglass and body repair skills. Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Volvo Standard Times using Volvo Special Tools where appropriate. Assist in the fault diagnosis process. Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of repair. Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles. Road test vehicle when required (if holder of Commercial driver’s license); Possess welding credentials. Ensure that the company time recording procedures are complied with and that job cards are completed accurately. Ensure that service sheets are completed as per Prevost instructions. Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your Shop lead. Basic fabrication skills. Able to complete a gluing certification provided by Prevost. What you’ll do
Perform vehicle body and panel repairs according to manufacturer procedures and safety standards. Collaborate with the parts team and shop lead to ensure accurate fault diagnosis and completion of service documentation.
Requirements
Must be a Red Seal certified technician with strong fiberglass, welding, and body repair skills. Knowledge of vehicle body building and technology is highly beneficial.
