Reporting to the General Foreman, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping shop in working order, includes building and equipment used for manufacturing. What Will You Do? * Provide quality customer service to internal clients * Respond to requests in a prompt and expeditious manner * Produce exceptional quality workmanship on finished products. Workplace Safety * Monitor, ensure and always promote workplace safety * Practice and adhere to safety in the workplace and ensures that the well-being of oneself and the others are not endangered in the plant * Comply to, ensure and adhere to safety regulations, policies and procedures. Maintenance * Ensure all equipment’s longevity & safe working operations * Perform regular preventative maintenance on all WBM equipment from Machine Shop equipment to power tools * Repair all broken equipment and perform Lock outs when required. * Troubleshoot, maintain, repair or replace defective parts, and make suggestions for potential improvements. * Confident in operating machine tools such as lathes & grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery. * Follow preventative maintenance programs, maintain records and safety. Education: * High school diploma * Lock Out training * Fall Arrest training Experience: * A minimum of 5 years of related experience * Millwright experience is an asset Knowledge * Good knowledge of the manufacturing industry, our Company, products and services. * In-depth knowledge of all tools and equipment and their use and care * In-depth knowledge of all safety practices Skills * Effective communication skills to read, write, listen, and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels * Strong interpersonal skills work collaboratively and cooperatively with others * Effective time management skills to productively complete work and meet all expected deadlines and conflicting demands. * Strong organizational skills to plan out and coordinate work * Strong critical thinking and analytical skill to identify and resolve problems * Advanced problem-solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems Abilities * Promotes safety at the workplace constantly * Creative and resourceful * Strives for excellence and is very attentive to details * Anticipates and executes changes * Demonstrates strong work ethics (attendance, punctuality, reliability, honesty, etc.) * Works with minimal direction * Self-motivated to manage his or her time effectively and productively * Collaborates with others to achieve company objectives * Physically fit to lift items weighing up to 20 kg. * Push or pull up to 45 kg. * Climb Ladders * Use Stairways * Operate self-powered equipment * Drive a vehicle * Work Standing * Work Seated * Walk long distances on uneven surfaces * Able to crawl, squat or kneel * Lift with both arms over shoulders * Use both arms at full length * Use tools that vibrate * Use of both hands * Able to work at heights. * Able to wear a respirator Bonus Round! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining shop equipment and building facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. Duties include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and fabricating parts using machine tools.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of related maintenance experience. Required certifications include Lock Out and Fall Arrest training, with Millwright experience considered an asset.
