Work in man-lifts with the use of fall protection equipment. Repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves and cylinders. Work positively in a team environment. You Have Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace. Sawmill experience is an asset. A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright certification or a Millwrighting Apprentice preparing to enroll in their 4th Mechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with other trades and employees. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible schedule for workdays, nights, and weekend shifts. What you’ll do

Perform preventative maintenance and repair of conveyors, drive systems, and hydraulic components in a sawmill environment. Operate hoisting devices and man-lifts to install and set up industrial machinery while following strict safety protocols.

Requirements

Requires a valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright certification or an apprentice preparing for their 4th year. Candidates must have strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
