We have full-service shops where our Heavy Equipment Technicians and Trailer Techs are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our fleet of transport trucks and trailers. We are seeking Licensed 310T or 310J Technicians or 3rd or 4th year apprentices in Sarnia ON. Total Compensation: In addition to very competitive rates including shift premiums for both licensed and apprentice techs, we offer our apprentices WAGE CONTINUANCE including tuition and textbook reimbursement for attendance at technical school. * Annual Tool Allowance * Annual safety boot allowance * Flexible work arrangements * Immediate company-paid health and dental benefits * RRSP/DPSP matching program * Annual bonus opportunities About the position: Depending on skill level and experience you will be exposed or trained on: * Interpreting work orders and technical manuals, performing scheduled preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults or malfunctions * Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailers * Operating oxy-acetylene torches or perform minor welding repairs (non-code work) * Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations * Completing service repair orders and bill out all parts used on repair order * Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends Remember, Refer and Earn!
