We are recruiting for a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team at our new Fleet Services facility in Toronto. Shift: Monday to Friday, eight hours per day, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexibility to adjust hours and days based on the changing needs of the business. About the position: * Oversee the in-terminal tire program, including shipping and receiving * Remove and install tires on Class 8 Vehicles and trailers. * Rotate tires to support even tread wear * Retorque wheel nuts on branch units as required following repairs * Complete yard checks * Track test tires and related tire program activity * Repair and issue tire chains * Perform hose tests trailing equipment * Perform air checks and torque inspections * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area * Operate a company vehicle What you bring: * Minimum of 2 years of commercial or fleet tire experience is preferred * A safety-conscious approach to all job duties * AZ/Class 1 driver's license is considered an asset Total Compensation: * Competitive wages, company matched RRSP/DPSP savings program, bonus opportunity, scholarships program for employee’s children and referral reward payments up to $2,000 available per successful hire (certain conditions apply) We have a strong culture of teamwork, with a balance of seriousness and fun.
