Fittings, currently has one (1) position available for an Millwright WAGE $45.56 PER HOUR JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over. * Overhaul and install new equipment. * Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area * Ensure that PMs are completed in a timely manner and documented accordingly * Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Supervisor * Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory * Generate and complete work orders as assigned * Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups. * Reads blueprints and schematic drawings * Strong trouble-shooting skills of hydraulic and pneumatic components * Work with a wide array of precision tools, such as Vernier Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, OD tapes * Work with other trades’ groups and contractors to complete project assignments * Operates grinder, saw, lathe and milling machines to make customized parts or repairs. * Fabricates custom parts, fixtures and guarding by means of arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting. * Assembles and installs machinery and equipment. * Follow all company safety policies. * MS Office, and computer Maintenance management software Computer skills * Coverage in the Pipe Plant * All other relevant duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * 433A Millwright certificate is required * 442A Electrician an asset * PLC programming experience is an asset * Prior diagnostic /troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred * Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude * Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and schematics * Ability to work on weekends * Ability to work other shifts and overtime Westlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
Candidates must possess the 433A Millwright certificate, with experience in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance being preferred. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude is required, along with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work with precision tools, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
