We are looking for a Part Time Maintenance Technician to assist with our multi-family residential buildings in Victoria, BC. What you will be doing: * Painting, drywall patching, mudding, and taping; * Detecting faulty operations, defective materials, and reporting deficiencies; * Maintain building exterior including basic ground maintenance; * Perform repairs to windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures, and carpet tile replacement; * Diagnosis and repair plumbing, heating, and electrical problems. What you need to bring: * Two years of experience in the property management and/or construction industry would be an asset; * Ability to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials; * Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-oriented approach; * Ability to think creatively when problem solving, proactively adapting to challenges; * Ability to work well independently; * Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships and to work well in a team environment.
