INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Infrastructure Technician to provide technical support for both local and remote users. This role involves managing hardware and software issues, supporting network devices, handling printer support, and assisting with manufacturing environment needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and collaborating with a development team to support in-house applications. Key Responsibilities: * User Support (Hardware and Software): * Provide assistance to local and remote users with hardware and software-related issues. * Resolve technical problems and ensure timely issue resolution. * Hardware Management: * Receive, inventory, and organize computer equipment. * Set up new PCs and configure user environments. * Decommission and refurbish older equipment for reuse or disposal. * Printer Support and Management: * Set up, troubleshoot, and provide basic servicing for printers. * Offer end-user support for printer-related issues. * Network and Device Management: * Monitor, review, and troubleshoot networking equipment, specifically on the Behlen side of the network. * Maintain network stability and performance. * Helpdesk Management: * Manage and update user support tickets in the helpdesk system. * Ensure all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. * In-House Application Support: * Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of in-house applications. * Work closely with the development team to support the deployment of new software and application updates. * Manufacturing Environment Support: * Maintain cleanliness of equipment in the manufacturing environment. * Replace failed equipment as needed. * Provide on-site support for manufacturing users, assisting with both software and hardware issues at their stations. * Research and Deployment of New Solutions: * Research, test, and deploy new hardware and software solutions for the organization. * Ensure solutions are well-integrated into the existing environment and meet organizational needs. * Qualifications: * Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in both hardware and software support. * Familiarity with network devices and basic networking concepts. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with helpdesk management and ticketing systems. * Basic understanding of in-house application management and deployment processes. * Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, continually adapt to change and work under pressure. * Working Conditions: * This position involves a mix of working in office and manufacturing areas. * Safety precautions are essential while working in the manufacturing area, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. * Occasional lifting and movement of computer equipment. * Some travel may be required.
