Small Engine Technician- Timmins We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines. This role requires proficiency in working with various power tools and the ability to read schematics. The Small Engine Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose and repair small engine equipment, including lawn mowers, generators, and other outdoor power tools. Perform routine maintenance on engines to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues. Conduct electrical repairs as needed, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and support sales efforts by advising customers on equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards. Assist with heavy lifting of equipment as necessary. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with small engines or similar machinery. Familiarity with Fusing equipment is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive repairs. Experience in welding is advantageous but not required. Proficient in using power tools and understanding electrical systems related to small engines. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
