Role Description The Tax Technician is a part-time, on-site position based in midtown Montreal. In this role, the Tax Technician will assist with preparing individual Canadian and US tax returns, organizing client documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry into tax and accounting systems. Training and support will be provided. Responsibilities include reviewing financial information for completeness, supporting the application of relevant tax laws and regulations, and collaborating with senior team members on tax filings and client engagements. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in perosnal income tax preparation and practical experience with the Canadian tax return processes. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting or Finance to manage financial records and reconcile data. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proficiency with tax and accounting software are beneficial. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are important. Prior experience in public accounting or working with diverse client organizations is a plus.
