Wood is recruiting a Rope Access Technician (Abseiler)- Offshore Adhoc (Casual /Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis. The Role Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador Site / Office based: Hibernia Hours of work: 12 hours per day Rotation / work pattern: Call out, as needed Required: Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures. Requirements

Candidates must hold valid IRATA rope access certification and various offshore safety training credentials. The role requires physical stamina to perform manual labor in extreme conditions and the ability to work 12-hour shifts.
