Electrical Engineer-Construction Support Location: Site-Based Project Assignment Rotation: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off Shift: 10 Hours Per Day Travel: Flights Provided Accommodation: Camp Provided Employment Type: Employee or Independent Contractor About the Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Construction Support to provide technical guidance and field engineering support during the construction phase of a major industrial project. This role will act as a key liaison between engineering, construction, quality, and commissioning teams to ensure electrical installations are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to construction teams regarding electrical systems and installations. Review IFC drawings, specifications, and construction work packages. Support field modifications, design clarifications, and technical queries. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. Review and resolve field non-conformances and technical issues. Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Participate in inspections, walkdowns, punch list reviews, and turnover activities. Support electrical testing, commissioning, and start-up readiness activities. Assist with project reporting, planning, and schedule coordination. Promote and maintain compliance with project HSE requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility preferred. Minimum 8+ years of electrical engineering experience supporting industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control systems, substations, and industrial electrical installations. Experience supporting construction execution in LNG, energy, mining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in industrial construction projects. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is preferred, along with strong knowledge of power distribution and industrial electrical systems.
