As a CAD Designer/Technologist, you'll play a key role in delivering municipal and land development projects focused on drainage, stormwater management, and water resource infrastructure across Ontario. Your Impact * Prepare detailed CAD drawings and design models for drainage, stormwater management, and municipal infrastructure projects. * Develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, grading designs, and technical details that support successful project delivery. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to transform concepts into practical design solutions. * Support stormwater management facility design, conveyance systems, culverts, channels, and drainage infrastructure projects. * Coordinate design information across disciplines to improve project efficiency and minimize design conflicts. * Maintain drawing quality, accuracy, and compliance with municipal, provincial, and client standards. * Contribute to sustainable water management solutions that enhance community resilience and environmental stewardship. * Support project delivery milestones while continuing to expand your technical knowledge and design expertise. The Skills That Set You Apart * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, CAD Technology, or a related discipline. * Minimum 3+ years of experience preparing CAD drawings for municipal, land development, drainage, or stormwater management projects. * Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and experience using Civil 3D for design and drafting. * Working knowledge of grading design, drainage design, and stormwater management principles. * Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical documentation. * Familiarity with municipal standards, specifications, and approval processes within Ontario. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality. * Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and effectively manage multiple priorities.
