In this role, you’ll help deliver impactful industrial structural engineering projects—from conceptual design to construction—while collaborating with a tight‑knit team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. We are seeking candidates who desire to work out of our New Brunswick offices. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Lead advanced analysis and the design of steel and concrete structures for major industrial facilities. * Mentor intermediate and junior engineers and designers. * Sign and seal calculations and technical documents in accordance with provincial requirements. * Perform technical reviews, validate structural models, and guide engineering decisions. * Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and participate in strategic meetings. * Contribute to planning, cost estimating, risk management, and the development of service offerings. * Conduct key site visits and oversee construction reviews. * Support multidisciplinary coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The skills that set you apart * Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is an asset. * P.Eng. license in New Brunswick or Ontario. * Advanced experience in structural design within the industrial or mining sector. * Proven expertise in steel and concrete structures and in technical project management. * Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and advanced structural software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000, etc.). * Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and client relations. * Ability to mentor and develop talent within the team. * Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why choose WSP?
