You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex bridge and civil structure projects, contributing technical design expertise while growing your career within one of Canada’s leading engineering organizations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Prepare detailed structural designs and drawings for bridges and civil structures in accordance with applicable codes and standards. * Support the development of preliminary and detailed design packages for transportation infrastructure projects. * Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers to deliver coordinated design solutions. * Assist with quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, and constructability reviews. * Incorporate sustainability, safety, and quality considerations into all design work. * Participate in design reviews and apply feedback to continuously improve technical outputs. * Contribute to project documentation, reports, and client deliverables. * Support field reviews and construction-phase services as required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. * Experience supporting the design of bridges and/or civil structures within a consulting or engineering environment. * Proficiency with structural design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar). * Working knowledge of Canadian bridge and structural design codes and standards. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based, multidisciplinary environment. * Clear written and verbal communication skills. * Eligibility to work in Canada. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP?
