Mental Health Technician Position Details: Facility: St. Jospeh Main Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full time, Hourly Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No The Mental Health Technician Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and BLS certification, with a preference for CNA or Patient Care Technician certifications. Candidates should have 6 months of experience in psychology or a related bachelor's degree.
