Electronics Technician Saint-Laurent, QC, Canada Contract (6 months) to Perm Hybrid – 3-4 days onsite. Bilingual - English & French Introduction We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team as Electronics Technician to support research and development activities and existing product maintenance. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to prototype, test, and validate new designs while providing technical support for established products. They will ensure good quality of both product and required documentation. Responsibilities ●Build and modify prototype electronic systems and assemblies ● Design PCB layout according to best practices (components placement, signal integrity, stack-up, thermal management, DFM and DFA) ● Assist engineers in testing and validating new product designs ● Develop and execute test procedures for R&D projects ● Troubleshoot and debug complex electronic systems ● Document test results, experimental procedures, and technical specifications ● Maintain lab equipment and calibration records ● Support existing products through failure analysis and repair ● Create and maintain technical documentation ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development Requirements ● Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field ● 5+ years experience in electronics with emphasis on R&D environment ● Strong knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers) ● Experience with prototyping and breadboarding techniques ● Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics and drawings ● Knowledge of various electronic circuits ● Experience with soldering and rework of through-hole and SMT components ● Familiarity with lab safety procedures and ESD protocols ● Experience with PCB design and layout software ● Good analytical and problem-solving skills ● Autonomous, rigorous and results-oriented What We Offer Why work with Brunel?
