Engine Workshop Technician - Apprentice

Job Summary: Assist with general workshop activities while completing on the job and classroom based training. We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician - Apprentice to join our Distribution business in (Regina, SK). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and performing other basic workshop activities • Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance • Assist with completing required documentation, including work completed records and timesheets through handwritten forms or business systems • Complete training in line with skill development and business requirements • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation • Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues or incidents to supervisors • Assist with repairs and maintenance on engine and power generation products under supervision • Support troubleshooting using mechanical, electrical, and electronic service tools • Assist with diagnosing equipment issues following guided workflows and procedures • Create and maintain accurate service documentation and repair records • Escalate technical issues appropriately and document troubleshooting steps Cummins is an equal opportunity employer. The apprentice will assist with cleaning, inspecting, and repairing engine and power generation products while following established workshop procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate service documentation and ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies.

Candidates must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent and have basic mechanical knowledge. A minimal level of workshop experience is required to support the engine technician curriculum.
