Survey Equipment Manager - Edmonton, AB


who has experience in the geomatics sector and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.


The Work:


  • Assist in coordinating the maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment
  • Liaising with vendors, technicians, and service providers as necessary
  • Support the deployment and retrieval of equipment for field operations, working alongside project teams
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment condition, identify maintenance needs, and address any issues
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, including procurement of new equipment and replacement parts
  • Assist in monitoring equipment usage and expenses, optimizing resource allocation and budgeting to drive operational efficiency


What you bring to the table:


  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment management in the geomatics sector
  • Geomatics diploma or degree
  • Strong knowledge of geospatial equipment, tools, and technology
  • Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays occasionally based on project demands
  • Ability to travel outside of the local area when necessary
