The Opportunity

Our Brand group is looking to add an #energyproblemsolver as a Brand Specialist & Production Designer on our Brand, Web & Creative team, based in Calgary, AB or Houston, TX.

Reporting to the Manager, Brand, Web & Creative, this position supports a wide range of branding activities using a broad range of creative digital tools and technologies to bring TC Energy's visual identity to life, developing unique design solutions for print collateral and digital content as well as presentations and branded merchandise.

What You'll Do

  • Create high-impact, brand-aligned visual assets to support TC Energy's marketing initiatives and communications
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from around the business and other creatives to ensure consistency and quality across all brand projects
  • Assist with the development and implementation of brand standards, processes, and templates
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of branded materials, such as web graphics, banners, maps, reports and more
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brand-related inquiries, providing guidance and assistance to cross-functional teams
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate photo and video shoots with creative partners, including safety approvals, photo distribution and usage
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain creative assets in TC Energy's centralized digital asset library, ensuring proper metadata, tagging, and version control
  • Develop engaging presentations
  • Rebrand and/or redesign existing materials
  • Work with the creative team to execute the creative vision in a cost-effective and efficient manner, leveraging automation where appropriate
  • Provide strategic creative and digital communications support to partners
  • Recommend appropriate tools and approaches to help teams work smarter, not harder

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education, typically a university degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or business
  • 2 years of related experience
  • A strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates the necessary skills for the role
  • Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro
  • Advanced user in Microsoft PowerPoint, including experience creating and maintaining templates

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of proven experience designing multimedia tactics to support integrated campaigns
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and branding
