Division Lead of Geomatics-Energy

Position Overview:

As the Division Lead of Geomatics-Energy, you will play a key role in leading and advancing our geomatics capabilities within the energy sector. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of professionals, collaborate with industry experts, and shape the future of geomatics solutions in the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Geomatics-Energy division, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of geomatics specialists, surveyors, and technologists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, including sales strategies, project execution, and resource allocation, to achieve divisional targets and objectives.
  • Drive the development and implementation of advanced geomatics solutions tailored to the unique needs of the energy sector, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations, to drive business growth and expand market presence. Some evenings and weekends may be required, as well as some travel.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements, and integrate relevant insights into divisional strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety protocols across all divisional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Commissioned Land Surveyor (British Columbia, Alberta, or Saskatchewan). Canada Lands commission would be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in geomatics technology, with a focus on the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of leadership and managerial experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving business growth.
  • Strong technical expertise in geomatics analysis, remote sensing, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement, with a passion for delivering value and exceeding client expectations.
  • The ability to work remotely from home.
  • Have a valid Driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
