Join our dedicated Health & Safety team as a Business Analyst where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our safety protocols and decision-making processes. Working with the Manager, Health & Safety, you will assess business requirements, refine processes, and deliver analytical insights that drive pivotal initiatives. This role is vital for ensuring the effectiveness of our health and safety standards through detailed analysis, reporting, and collaborative improvements.

What You Get to Do:

  • Develop and manage information systems to support corporate decision-making.
  • Enhance existing reporting mechanisms, creating ad-hoc reports and forecasting models to assist leadership in strategic planning.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Serve as a consultant to leadership, providing analytics support and ensuring relevant data integration into business processes.
  • Lead training sessions on data analysis, risk assessment, and effective decision-making strategies.
  • Act as a primary contact for health and safety data inquiries, analyzing system data to identify and address root causes.
  • Apply project management techniques to prioritize, schedule, and oversee projects, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.

What you Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant diplomas or equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Business Analyst Certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytics-driven role; experience in Health & Safety environments is an asset.
  • Strong capability to adapt to changing business needs and ambiguous environments.
  • Proven track record of working independently and achieving significant results.
  • Expertise in data analysis and statistical methods, with proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to interpret relevant policies and procedures effectively.
