The MacPhail School of Energy is the only energy school in Canada, and we are charting a new course with a focus on sustainable energy sources and practices. MacPhail School of Energy provides hands-on, industry-guided training in labs that mimic job site environments, giving students the skills needed to find a rewarding career in the energy sector.

The Opportunity
The MacPhail School of Energy is currently looking for individuals who are interested in teaching the next generation of professionals in their field. We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in future Instructor opportunities. We offer various courses during the day (Monday-Friday, between 8AM-6PM) along with evening and weekend courses.

The Role

    • Prepare for classes prior to delivery
    • Maintain and update curriculum as required
    • Develop quality presentations for students
    • Attend all SAIT training as required
    • Achievement of School initiatives and Objectives
    • Provide accurate and up to date reporting of student marks
    • Be an active and engaged member of the School
    • Adhere to all safety legislation, guidelines and safety standards as required
    • Maintain contact with industry sectors to assure technology is relevant
    • All other duties as required for the position
