We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Project Manager to join our team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems and extensive experience managing complex projects from conception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of building automation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of building automation projects, from initial design to final implementation.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline, and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Some travel required.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation project management
  • Strong understanding of building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • PMP certification preferred. However, we are open to helping the successful candidate with their PMP designation.
