About the role
Reporting to the Tax Director, the Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing and completing tax filings, handling all tax-related matters under the Graham group of companies, and maintaining a solid understanding of tax compliance including Canadian corporate income tax returns, partnership returns, and trust returns. The incumbent leverages accounting knowledge to understand how to assess the correct treatment for tax, answers questions from the business on tax-related issues, performs peer review on tax items, conducts research on tax issues and prepares internal memos for the tax and finance team in addition to memos for external use. The incumbent has knowledge and familiarity working with complex tax organizational structures, including trusts, partnerships, JVs, and corporate entities in a range of construction / real estate project development situations. The work location is flexible and open to a hybrid working arrangement.
