A Day in the Life
- Design and draft detailed drawings for architectural approval, shop fabrication & field installations
- Create custom designs as required for architectural approval
- Provide complete fabrication drawings and bills of materials for each job
- Utilize all forms of architectural metals and/or curtain wall that Flynn offers to its customers
- Provide technical support on projects
- Review and verify all CAD work conform to applicable codes, standards, specification and project requirements
- Collaborate with project manager and engineer to develop scope, schedule and outline technical clarifications/exceptions as necessary
- Review drawing submissions for accuracy
- Provides staff support and technical guidance for projects
- Assist Drafting Team Leads as required

What We Are Seeking
- 10+ years direct industry experience in Construction is a must!
- Proven record in design/drafting of curtain wall & cladding Shop & Fabrication drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advance AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit, Inventor is required
- Solid construction knowledge base with emphasis on Building Envelope Design
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong PC skills in MS Office
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Strong mathematical skills are an asset
