Schedule: 14 on / 14 off

  • Vacation pay at 6% - paid out bi-weekly upon start date

Role Summary:


Bouchier is currently seeking skilled Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join our team. If you have expertise in HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, or any other maintenance trade relevant to facilities management, we welcome your application.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Utilize your expertise in facilities maintenance to perform a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' facilities, addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform skilled work in your respective trade, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.


Education & Experience:


  • Class 5 Driver's License is required.
    • Ability to provide Clean 5-year Driver's Abstract within the last 30 days.
  • CSO certificate is required.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive Drug, Alcohol, and Physical Demand Assessment is required.
  • Alberta-certified Journeyperson or a recognized related trade certificate (as applicable) is required.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related skilled trade.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures, especially if transitioning from a previous company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
