Live in Kamloops:
Kamloops is an affordable city with spectacular scenery and amenities, as well as endless outdoor and recreational activities. The Kamloops office is a highly profitable branch that continues to bid for and win many projects including land development, utility right of ways, topographic surveys, construction layout and surveys in our local region. Our office has been servicing local and regional clients with a full range of municipal and land development services for four decades, and our roots in the community run deep.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Work directly with our long-standing local clients including municipalities, indigenous communities, and land developers to help realize their infrastructure projects.
  • Provide design support including preparation of drawings, calculations and modelling for civil works (water, wastewater, stormwater and roads)
  • Author technical memos and reports to support projects from feasibility through to detailed design
  • Assist in the preparation of approval, tender and contract documents
  • Complete field inspections to monitor the quality and progress of the work being performed
  • Provide support to other departments (survey, materials testing, and environmental engineering) to learn about and develop a holistic approach to project execution
  • Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution with 4+ years related experience
  • Proficiency in the application of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Construction related experience is an asset
  • Registration in good standing as an Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia, or eligibility to be registered
  • High productivity, attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work well in a team environment
  • Possession of a valid BC driver’s license is required at the time of hire
