Reporting to the Manager of Asset Management, the Superintendent, Projects & Engineering is responsible for the management and supervision of the Projects & Engineering department at Highland Valley Copper as well as all related processes and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for the effectiveness and the quality of work by project staff, and fosters an environment to enable staff to execute accurate and technically competent work.
To be successful, we require someone with a strong project management and engineering background, with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a similar industrial environment. This is a key role for the site that will lead an assortment of technical and construction management projects. The Superintendent is also responsible to lead the team in keeping a high standard in the application of best engineering practices aligned with EGBC's requirements and Teck's Professional Practice Management Plan.

Salary Range: $144,000 - $178,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
