Siding Foreman

As a siding foreman, you will lead the team to install various types of siding on homes or commercial structures. Working on the structure exterior, you install siding as part of a larger construction project on a building, home, office, or any other type of structure. Your responsibilities include using tools and other equipment to install siding evenly and solidly over the face of a building. Some of the materials you use are steel, aluminum, vinyl, stucco, and wood. Essential skills include physical strength and stamina, as you must use heavy tools such as nailers, hammers, and sheathing. Your other duties may include installing flashing, fascia, and gutters.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of 2+ crew members for the installation of siding
• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
• Manage crew time clock and schedules
• Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors to ensure the project proceeds on time.
• Ability to learn products and installations
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform physical labor
• Precision mindset/mentality
• Project coordination
• Willingness to travel
• General construction experience
• Siding/Sheet Metal experience preferred
• Strong work ethic/drive

Requirements:

• 2+ years of siding crew supervision experience
• Ability to keep crew members engaged and on task
• Strong communication, customer service, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Commitment to safety at all times
• Ability to use hand and power tools
