Reporting to the Project Director, the Acting Lodge and Residential Assets Coordinator (Temporary) is responsible for overseeing, supervising, administrating, and coordinating all contracts and activities of the Contractor Lodge Camp and Residential Assets to ensure its effective and safe operation. This person will be based at the Lodge. This is a temporary, 6 month role.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance, repairs and upkeep of properties owned and leased by Teck
  • Coordinate, maintain and administrate all of Teck's residential facilities year-round building maintenance requirements, budget preparation, as well as forecast and funding requests for all of Teck's residential buildings, including both residential long term and transitional units and other Teck assets
  • Coordinate, and administrate the activities of the Lodge Service Provider contract and other related contracts, particularly in quality, audits, and costs
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and legislative requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for the Province of BC and environmental standards
  • Coordinate all aspects of the lodge activities including the scheduling of occupancy, meeting with contractors, and ensuring smooth check-in and checkout of all guests
  • Facilitate assurance and daily quality checks, including their documentation
  • Lead coordination of renovations of all Lodge and residential assets related work, including preparing scopes of work and coordinating contractor activities, include safety onboarding, timelines, and cost management
  • Coordinate development of maintenance programs with service providers for all assets
  • Provide vacation coverage as required for the Facilities Coordinator
  • Provide weekly reports on work projects' progress and deliverable status

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant schooling and experience in hospitality and customer service
  • Minimum seven years experience in a camp or similar facility management, including contract management
  • Experience in building maintenance and management
  • Small project management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite®, such as Outlook, Office, and Excel
  • Experience with HVAC, Hazardous Materials, such as Asbestos and Lead, is an asset

Benefits:

Salary Range: $76,700

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.

Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
