Reporting to the Environmental Coordinator, Aquatic Sciences, the Project Administrator, Aquatic Sciences (Contract) is responsible for supporting the Aquatic Sciences Team in the areas related to environmental compliance for water monitoring projects and regional monitoring programs, associated with Teck's authorizations. Key focus areas in this role are to support the administrative tasks associated with the Aquatic Sciences Team and the external technical working group, the Environmental Monitoring Committee (EMC). This contract will expire at the end of 2024, with opportunity for extension.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong leadership, time management, interpersonal and communication skills who can work independently with little supervision. You will be someone with excellent problem-solving skills who is detail-oriented and can multi-task competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role's focus is supporting multiple administrative tasks, therefore excellent organizational skills are vital. This is a core function support role with an opportunity for extension.

Hourly Range: $30.00 - $40.00
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
