Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, the Project Engineer is responsible for all aspects of project management delivering safe and environmentally responsible projects on time and on budget. The Project Engineer will manage project delivery from the pre-scoping and scoping stage through pre-feasibility, feasibility, and execution stages up to commissioning and project closeout. Close coordination with mine site personnel is essential to successful project delivery. This role has the potential for extended hours at times, especially during planned shutdown periods.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing shifting priorities in a timely and efficient manner; someone who is willing and able to work outdoors in dusty and varying weather conditions, perform moderate physical activities, work at heights and around bodies of water.

Teck employees receive a competitive compensation package that includes, but is not limited to, base salary plus the following benefits:
Salary Range: $101,000 - $125,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
