B&B Contracting Group is seeking the following positions to join our growing company:


  • Formwork Carpenters (Journeymen and Apprentices) $28 - $41/hr
  • Curb & Gutter and Sidewalk Finishers $36 - $40/hr
  • Form Setters $33/hr


Hourly pay is determined based on skillset and experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The job duties performed by concrete workers include but are not limited to:


  • Fabricating and erecting forms for civil concrete construction
  • Placing and finishing concrete
  • Setting forms for curb, sidewalk and flatworks.
  • Misc concrete works
  • Skilled labour work


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


  • Journeyman Certification or a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings an asset
  • Reliable, punctual and possess a strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player
  • Valid drivers license
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in proper operating condition
  • Experience working with curbing machines an asset


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Audio & visual acuity
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
  • Lift and/or carry building supplies and tools
  • Stoop / bend / kneel / crouch / balance / climb on an occasional basis
  • Wear protective equipment such as hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, and safety glasses
