Our Project Monitoring and Lenders Services team is looking for an Analyst to join us in Vancouver immediately.

What You Get To Do

• Work and assist on between 5-10 projects per month with regular supervisor from a more experienced colleague.
• Conduct and complete site inspections and reports including photographs
• Develop the ability to prepare and undertake periodic reviews of progress claim reports, including submitting invoices, valuation of changes, analysis of progress on site and recommendation of loan advances
• Develop the ability to prepare budget reviews through detailed analysis of development proposals with comprehensive knowledge of typical Lender’s
  requirements and terms of engagement
• General understanding of who our clients are and terms of our engagement; learn why clients do business with BTY.
• Assist a more senior team member to ensure that deadlines are met, and client relationships are enhanced.
• Alongside a more senior team member, may occasionally participate in business development activities, aiming to build new contacts and enhancing client
  relationships
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills
• A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Self-motivated with good organizational, communication and report writing skills
• Ability to take direction from experienced staff members and work in a team environment

What You'll Bring

• Having 0 to 2 years of experience
• University Degree or equivalent to any of the following; Quantity Surveying, Construction, and Engineering

The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000to $60,000 CAD per year. Please note the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the British Columbia Pay Transparency Act. It assumes the successful candidate will be in Vancouver or perform the position from Vancouver. BTY takes into consideration a candidates education, training, and experience, as well as the positions work location, expected quality and quantity of work, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. In compliance with the Pay Transparency Act, a potential new employees salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
