Building Manager (Part-time)

We are hiring for an experienced and self-sufficient Building Manager to provide part-time caretaking services, assisting with the operations of a rental apartment building.

Responsibilities

• Administrative work involved in the operation of the property
• Book viewings of suites and interview potential tenants
• Complete accurate detailed move in/out reports for each tenant and supervise moves to ensure security is maintained
• Collect, deposit and record all rents
• Issue notices/ letters to tenants when applicable
• Comply with regulations as contained in the Residential Tenancy Act
• Supervise contractors and process invoices in a timely manner
• Request Purchase Orders for all work and/or supplies being undertaken at the property
• Prepare detailed Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations, and damage to the property and/or other applicable incidents,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Rental Building Manager experience required
• Must be available to work on weekends as needed
• Motivated and professional
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Computer literate
• Able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act an asset
