Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position will be full time, permanent and unionized.

With proper instruction and training, the Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the installation, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, removal and replacement of machines and mechanic equipment within the Department's scope of responsibility. The incumbent will ensure department logs and records are maintained and the shop and work areas are kept clean and orderly.

Position Requirements:

• Maintains good working order of all machines and mechanical equipment in facility
• Installs new equipment as required
• Adhere to all Bristol policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possesses Red Seal Milwright Certification of Qualification (Trade Certificate) as endorsed by The Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act and associated Regulations
• Ability to use power and manual tools.
• 5 years of related work experience required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
• Strong organizational and good interpersonal communication skills required.
• Must be able to interact in a team environment.
• Experience with mechanical equipment or plant maintenance schedules preferred.
