Essential Responsibilities:

Work closely with various departments to support production deadlines and meet customer demands

Work to blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.

Set up and operate welding machines as well as various power/hand tools and other equiment

Handle confidential information on a regular basis.

Take on and complete any work with guidance that is assigned by the shift leaders.

Proactively participate in continuous improvement and 6S activities and take responsibility to maintain an organized and effective working environment

We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined, energetic, productive, with a high level of accuracy.

Education, Skills & Experience:

A strong work history

Must be able to interpret drawings, standards & specifications

Must be able to work to close tolerances

Must read, write and speak fluent English

Must be team orientated as well as be able to work independently

Must be mature, responsible, career-minded and possess a high performing work attitude

Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods

MIG welding

High school diploma

Read, write and speak fluent English

Welding experience or related education

Other Requirements:

•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to follow verbal and written instructions •Fluent in English (must be able to speak, read and write in English)

•Able to stand for long periods of time, including bending and lifting •Able to lift up to 50lbs (lifting of material and products) •Willingness to work overtime when required

•Mature, responsible, career-minded, with a high performing work attitude

•A team player, committed to working in a quality environment, who can also work independently when required •Must be eligible to meet the requirements and security regulations of The Canadian Controlled Goods Program

•Work closely with various departments to supply and move materials, supplies and products to support production deadlines and meet customer demands
