Be our next Intermediate Municipal Technologist

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Municipal Infrastructure team, based in Fredericton, NB office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
  • Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final;
  • Generating material quantities and cost estimates;
  • Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
  • Coordinating project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others;
  • Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner;
  • Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards; and
  • Mentor and support a team of civil technologists.

What your experience looks like

  • Graduation from an Engineering Technology program accredited by NBSCETT (New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists). Must be eligible for certification by NBSCETT.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (i.e. water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads, etc.);
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel; and
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills.
