As a Centralized Acquisition Sales Representative, you will be responsible to acquire new business for your assigned territory through both inbound and outbound calling. Your goal will be to leverage your strong attention to detail to identify potential new customers. Your success will be determined by your ability to effectively expand our business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the acquisition and performance of profitable new business by being the first point of customer contact with new customers once the customer has activated or taken first order
  • Follow a defined sales process and Utilize sales tools such as Microsoft Office & Sales CRM (customer relationship management tools)
  • Spot leads in other areas of the business (cross leads) and respond to cross leads within 24 hours
  • Collaborate with account managers within their channel and across other business lines
  • Keep sales pipeline current with only those leads and opportunities that are progressing to commitment
  • Monitor activated accounts to ensure volume and gross margin is fully realized as committed to on the opportunity
  • Understand credit granting requirements, complex opportunities and submit complex deals for approval as required
  • Communicate internally with key stakeholders and groups to ensure a great customer experience
  • Forecast opportunities that will close in the next 30/60 days

Your Skills:

  • Technically inclined, with a strong working knowledge
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship building, customer service and communication skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a regional team

Your Experience:

  • High school diploma required. University degree or College diploma preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in a sales environment
