As an Eastern Canada Bulk Plant Manager in our Bulk Plant Operations for Atlantic Canada you will be responsible to maintain all Bulk Plant assets. Your goal will be to ensure that we receive the best value and efficiency possible. Your success will be measured on your ability to effectively manage and maximize the value of physical assets while minimizing the risks associated with operating them.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, maintain daily inventory levels, manage within or under plan for annual budget, and follow all Bulk Plant and Company Procedures and Policies.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance completed as required
  • Follow procedures on all Subcontractors, work with Supply Management to approve vendor, attain requisition approval, and approval prior to work being accomplished.
  • Support the business line KPIs
  • Ensure alignment of team and individual goals, focusing on change and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives
  • Develop a Safety culture within the team and celebrate success and encourage high level of engagement
  • Hold individuals accountable for their commitments, job performance and behaviors by regularly providing timely, specific and constructive feedback
  • Celebrates successes and acknowledges disappointments in such a way that they motivate an even higher level of commitment and performance
  • Applies creative approaches to addressing needs to achieve win-win solutions
  • Consistently builds knowledge of customer and market issues for assigned region and identifies potential threats and opportunities.

Your Skills:

  • Must have proven leadership skills
  • Highly accountable for the success of business objectives
  • Requires analytical capabilities and extreme attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive and fast paced environment that needs quick decision making and multitasking capabilities
  • Experience/familiarity with pressurized vessels

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business and/or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years industry related experience and/or related asset management experience
