Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a Business Performance Analyst.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English. Qualifications:

· Education:

o Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, computer science or a related field.

o Master's or post graduate desired but not required.

o PMP and/or Six Sigma certification considered an asset.

· Experience:

o 7+ years' experience in business analysis, financial analysis, data analysis or related field.

o 5+ years' experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.

o 5+ years using such tools as Alteryx, Tableau, and Business Intelligence Software.

· Experience working cross-functionally in a complex and dynamic work environment.

· Experience developing and working with key performance indicators and performance measurement frameworks.

· Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and interpret complex data sets.

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Analysis - Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to business performance.

· Reporting - Generating reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

· Forecasting & Planning - Using historical data and trends to forecast future performance and assist planning and decision-making processes.

· KPI Monitoring - Tracking KPIs to measure and evaluate the success of business initiatives and operations.

· Process Improvement - Identifying inefficiencies and area for improvement within business processes and workflows to optimize performance.

· Recommendations - Providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve business performance, increase efficiency, and achieve organizational goals.

· Collaboration - Working closely with various teams and departments to gather data, validate findings, and implement solutions.

· Ad Hoc Analysis - Conducting ad hoc analysis as requested by management to address specific business questions or challenges.

· Continuous Learning - Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to business analysis and performance measurement.
