Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will join our local Halifax team while also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid work model. In recent years, we have prioritized significant investments to our physical office space to provide a bright, vibrant, highly functional, technologically advanced, and collaborative working environment for our team.

Our Halifax team continues to play a leading role in some of the region's largest infrastructure projects, as well as collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions!

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Coordinating the assessment, planning, and design, and construction management of civil/municipal infrastructure projects involving site grading, site development, street reconstruction, water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management, parking, and active transportation.
  • Preparing construction specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
  • Managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Engaging with a variety of stakeholders including owners, contractors, sub-consultants, operations staff, utilities, businesses, and the public.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior staff.

What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) from APEGNB.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
