About the role

Perform various levels of Multi Link integration and system testing, including Integration, functional, and system tests.
These activities include:
  • Developing Multi Link test procedures that will verify the integration and functionality of the Combat Management System (CMS). This will include Land Based Test Site (LBTS) and Shipboard tests
  • Supporting the system integration and test lead engineer in the integration of various subsystems
  • Performing fault isolation of subsystem faults that impact the integration and testing of assigned systems
  • Conducting tests, ensuring all data is recorded in Lockheed Martin Test Management System
  • Document, asses and test deficiencies
  • Work with minimum supervision and follow common company processes.
  • Perform various levels of Multi Link integration and system testing, including Integration, functional, and system tests

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant professional experience as a Combat System operator
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant professional experience with Multi-Link subsystems (Link-16/Link-22/ Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP))
  • Must be willing to support schedule environment including evenings and weekends as required
  • Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
  • Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
  • Have a high learning ability
  • Must be able to obtain a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret level security Clearance
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.
  • Have excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Experience with Agile methods
  • Experience with Military Naval domain and Operations
  • Experience with Sensors, Weapons or Ship integration
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Work experience with Naval Fleet School (NFS), Canadian Forces Maritime Warfare Centre (CFMWC), or Multi-Link Support Centre East (MLSC (E))
  • Hold a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO), Tactical Data Link (TDL) 400 or Multi-Link Planner (TDL300 qualification)
  • Experience with CINEMA or Combat System Integrator (CSI) planning tools
  • Work well individually or in a team environment
  • Experience with Naval Tactical Picture/Surface Operations.
  • Technical writing skills
